We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). In this policy we inform you about which data we process when you visit this website and when you contact us, for what purpose and on what legal basis.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you access the website, the server automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.

This data is required to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and functional operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with the host. The log files are deleted automatically after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.

3. Contact and booking enquiries

You can contact us by phone, by e-mail, via WhatsApp or via the booking form on this website. In the booking form we collect your name, phone number, e-mail address, pick-up and destination address as well as the date and time of the requested ride. We need this information to process your enquiry and carry out the ride.

The form data is sent to us by e-mail and is not stored in a database on the website. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or of the contract of carriage (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The consent checkbox in the form documents that you have taken note of this privacy policy.

We keep your enquiry for as long as necessary to process it and carry out the ride. Documents we are required to retain for tax and commercial law reasons (e.g. invoices) are kept for the statutory period of seven years.

WhatsApp: If you use the WhatsApp button, you will be redirected to WhatsApp, a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited. Data is only transmitted to WhatsApp once you click; the processing there is subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can always reach us by phone or e-mail.

4. Cookies and consent management

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use technically necessary cookies without consent (Section 165(3) TKG 2021). We only use all other cookies and similar technologies if you have given your consent via our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

In the cookie banner you can choose:

  • Necessary cookies only: No statistics or marketing cookies are set.
  • Allow statistics only: Google Analytics may additionally analyse how the website is used (see section 6).
  • Accept all: Google Ads may additionally measure the success of our advertising (see section 7).

We store your choice in the technically necessary cookie ta_consent for six months so that the banner does not reappear on every page view. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

5. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Tag Manager is a tool we use to manage tracking codes on the website. It does not set any cookies itself and does not analyse usage data. However, your IP address is transmitted to Google when it loads.

We use Google Consent Mode: as long as you have not given your consent, the Google services integrated via Tag Manager do not set any cookies, and only cookieless signals without a user identifier are transmitted. The legal basis for loading Tag Manager is our legitimate interest in managing tracking codes in a technically clean way (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Google Analytics 4 (only with “statistics” consent)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 from Google to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors reach the website. For this purpose, cookies are set and usage data such as pages viewed, time spent, device and browser information and an approximate location are collected. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The data is deleted after 14 months.

7. Google Ads conversion tracking (only with “marketing” consent)

With your consent, we use Google Ads conversion tracking. If you reach our website via one of our Google ads, a cookie is set that allows us to measure whether an enquiry or a phone call followed. We only receive aggregated statistics, not information that could identify you personally.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

8. Google reviews (Trustindex)

On the home page we display reviews from our Google Business Profile. For this we use the “Widgets for Google Reviews” plugin from Trustindex Kft., Kiss Ernő u. 7, 1046 Budapest, Hungary. When the reviews are displayed, a script and icons are loaded from Trustindex servers and the reviewers’ profile pictures from Google servers. In the process, your IP address and technical browser data are transmitted to Trustindex and Google respectively.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in giving prospective customers an independent assessment of our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

9. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are loaded from our own server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other font providers.

10. Data transfers to third countries

When Google services are used, personal data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; these transfers are therefore covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).

11. Your rights

In principle, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point. Simply contact us at info@taxi-adrian.at.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
